School Functions
As-The-Disc-Goes-Round Productions is now very proud to offer several new packages designed especially for the educational setting*.
Proms & Formal School Dances
Every prom and school dance are very different in terms of age groups, style of music, theme, and number of attendees. As-The-Disc-Goes-Round Productions will work with your committee to ensure that everything is perfect for your big event. All proms & school dances include the following:
2 professional DJ's dressed in formal attire
Full professional sound and light system
2 cordless microphones
Use of props (when needed and applicable)
No charge set-up & take down
In addition, we will gladly attend any pre-planning meeting(s) you may have, at no cost, to discuss any questions or concerns. We will also provide you with a copy of our song list so music can be decided prior to the event.
Pizza Karaoke Fun Night
The purpose for this event is to get everyone including the students, his or her families and school staff together in a social and fun atmosphere. The kids especially like it because the get together with their friends and classmates and sing their favorite songs. As-the-Disc-Goes-Round Productions handles nearly all the planning and set-up for this special event and it usually costs a school nothing to put on. This night has become one of the biggest and most anticipated events for one of the schools we provide this service for (the turnout for the 2002-2003 school year was 430 people...not bad for a school of only 276 kids!)
Here is how it works:
The event is typically held on a Friday between the hours of 5:30pm and 8:45pm in the school's cafeteria.
We provide your school or organization with the pizza/soda order forms which are handed out to the students.
On each form, a student's family can order large pizzas and 2-liters of soda. Pizza's are typically $8.50 each and soda is $1.50 (prices are pre-arranged by us through local companies like Dominos & Pizza Hut).
Monies are then brought to school where it is collected and given to either the school or the organization to hold.
Order forms are given to As-the-Disc-Goes-Round Productions so we can order the proper amount for the event.
As-the-Disc-Goes-Round Productions provides the school with cups, napkins and plates as well as the Karaoke entertainment (For more on our Karaoke service, please click here: Karaoke).
The pizza/soda are delivered at a designated time to the school for distribution to the families.
All left over monies are retained and used by the school or organization for future events.

Other School Events
Whether you are planning a fun night, a mixer, a end-of-the-year party or any other special event, As-The-Disc-Goes-Round Productions can usually tailor a DJ and/or Karaoke package to fit any school or organization budget. You will find that our DJ's are willing and able to keep kids actively participating in the nights festivities. All of our smaller school events include the following:
